Hi, I’m LaKisha Holmes, an LPC Associate and NCC currently practicing under the supervision of Jamie Fletcher, LPC-S and Adrianna Garza-Gongora, LPC-S. I am deeply passionate about supporting children, teens, adults, and women who may be navigating anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, or the weight of everyday challenges. As both a therapist and a mother, I understand firsthand how life can feel overwhelming — and I believe healing happens when people feel seen, heard, supported, and safe.

Why This Work Matters to Me
Read more about my journey and values
Counseling is deeply meaningful to me because I understand what it’s like to face difficult seasons and still choose to keep going. I am passionate about walking alongside others, holding space for their stories, and reminding them that they are not alone. It is truly an honor to support clients as they take brave steps toward emotional wellness, peace, and healing. Outside of the therapy room, I am also a mom, an advocate, and a blind woman who has learned firsthand the importance of resilience, faith, and community when navigating life’s challenges. These lived experiences shape the compassion, patience, and determination I bring into my work, and I feel privileged to support others as they discover their own strength, voice, and confidence.
If my story and approach resonate with you, I would be honored to support you on your journey. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, grief, life transitions, or simply seeking a safe and supportive space to talk, you don’t have to do it alone. I would love to walk alongside you as you take the next steps toward healing, growth, and emotional wellness—at a pace that feels right for you.
I currently offer virtual counseling services to clients throughout Texas.
